Organization

Poole Runners juniors have a sub-committee which meets about six times each year. These meetings are open and all parents are invited.

Lara Elliott our Secretary, looking after us when we have meetings and doing the minutes.

Sue Webb is our Membership Secretary which means that she sorts out all the membership information and fees.

When you join for the first time, you are given a free club t-shirt.

Money matters are dealt with by our treasurer, Dawn Astley.

We also have a Schools’ Liaison Officer, Eirian Turner.  In support, we try to have an adult who will keep in touch with each of the schools in the area, often where that person already has a link with that school, so that we cover a wide catchment.

The Child Protection Officer is Catherine Moore.

A number of the adults have qualified as officials for track and field events and we see them at competitions and training sessions .

Finally, Juniors Chairman is Alan Webb and Vice-Chairman is David Kitching.

If any parent wants to become involved, whether it is helping out at a training session, learning to be a track & field official, becoming a coach, helping with some of the administration, or in any other way, just speak to one of the coaches or other officials of the club. You will always be welcome.
